MHFA Mental Health Champion
The MHFA Mental Health Champions Course is a one day mental health awareness and skills course that qualifies you as an MHFA Mental Health Champion.
As this is only a 1 day course it is ideal for managers or other busy people.
MHFA Champions have:
- An understanding of common mental health issues
- Knowledge and confidence to advocate for mental health awareness
- Ability to spot signs of mental ill health
- Improved conversational skills
- Skills to support positive wellbeing in the workplace
This course provides a great foundation and is especially suitable for busy Managers due to course length.
MHFA England limit numbers to 16 people per course
so that the instructor can keep people safe and supported while they learn. During COVID restrictions the course is delivered online.
Through a mix of group activities, presentations and discussions, the course is built around a Mental Health First Aid action plan.
Everyone who completes the course receives an MHFA manual to keep and refer to whenever they need it, and a certificate to say they are an MHFA Champion.
They’ll also receive a copy of the Line Managers' Resource, an invaluable source of advice on how to support an employee experiencing mental ill health.

£3,125 + VAT per 16 delegate course.
